Bruce A. Smith, Publisher of
The Mountain News, a vibrant new web service to report the news of those who live close to Mount Rainier in body or spirit (the communities of southern Pierce and eastern Thurston and Lewis counties, from Puyallup in the north to Yelm in the west to Eatonville and Morton in the south.) submitted this report for Yelm Community Blog readers.

Smith said,
"Beth Rossow is tentatively scheduled to speak in Graham. I am sure folks in the community would love to hear about her remarkable live living in a treehouse for the past 35 years, one of her own construction from recycled materials.

Beth Rossow, the "Woman of the Mountain and Siren of the Sound" as described in the Mountain News, will be coming, tentatively, to the Graham Self-Reliant Community to talk about her life, particularly her 35 years living in a treehouse completely of her own construction.
Aug. 3, at 6:30 pm at the 70th Ave HQ firehouse in Graham, just south of 224th St.

Note: there are three fire stations on or near 224th St in Graham. The western one is on 224th down by the Fred Meyer off Mountain Hwy, and the other is east of Meridian at the intersection of 224th and 128th Ave. The Headquarters station is between the two and a half-mile south of 224th on 70th.

Beth is a remarkable woman, and I am sure the Eatonville Self-Reliant Group [and Yelm community] will love her."
