This is a report on Tuesday, September l2 Council Meeting.
l. Flag Salute
2. Council Isom, Miller and Fetterly were absent but a quorum was present.
3. Network Ordinance 854 was passed. This is a Franchise for multi media communications, cable tv, internet and phone, utilizing City right-of-way. The legal was good, 27 pages, but sounds not so great for traffic. It applies only to incorporated Yelm. Five percent of gross goes to City.
4. A new flow meter for sewage facility was approved.
5. Longmire Park work was approved.
6. Then the Public was asked to leave because of Closed Executive Session concerning real estate purchase/lease. NV News Reporter asked when the Public might learn of these negotiations but I could not hear a response. This is the third such hour long closed session over the past Council Meetings.
