“Much excitement has been happening in Tenino!! We have formed
a group called “The Friends of Tenino” to share information and
work together for the benefit of Tenino.
Information is shared through lighthearted gatherings once a month.
Further networking is done through a master email list, web-site,
community task forces and a once-a-month column in the Tenino
Independant. In the first week of April we will post our next meeting
and have our web-site up.

Quarry Pool task force has formed to negotiate a buffer of trees

Business and Tourism task force- purpose is to build up businesses in
Tenino; advertising, cooperation and encouraging Chamber membership.

and the Mayor and the council are happy we are involved with
