RACOGALU: Bohemian Music Concert (for adults and families)
Professional musicians interpret the folk and classical traditions of Bohemian music, performing songs and melodies that could be heard over a century ago in settlers homes. Light refreshments will be served. This free public event is part of Timberland Regional Librarys program series, The Big Read: Timberland Reads Together, My ntonia. Experience rhythms, instruments and songs from Africa, Brazil and the Caribbean with Geoff Johns.
Join cross-cultural percussionist and singer Geoff Johns for an evening of rhythm and song. Bring your drums and voices and join in the fun. Geoff will demonstrate, educate and perform on a variety of drums and percussion instruments, plus facilitate audience participation in drum-circles and sing-alongs. No experience necessary. All ages welcome.
