Happy Thanksgiving to all of you in the USA & around the World who read this blog!
We ALL have much for which to be thankful, wherever you reside.
I sincerely thank all of you for your interest in the stories printed here.
The numbers of “daily visitors” indicate the readership of this blog doubled this year.
Plus, this Blog garnered mention on a worldwide blog and on many other sites.
Why even our local elected officials have mentioned the Yelm Community Blog in Council meetings, our legislators in Olympia have acknowledged the Blog and various Puget Sound newsprint media have contacted me about several stories here, as well as the NVN indicating they read these pages, too!
Whatever our differences of opinion on issues, all of us are neighbors in the Yelm Community and these differences are what make our community great, creating a divergence of ideas, growth and understanding.
For that, I am grateful. And all by word of mouth with no advertising.
This is a fascinating look at the History of the American Thanksgiving from the History Channel.
May you & your family be blessed with health, joy & laughter this holiday season!
