“Inspired by her daughter’s dyslexia and difficulties with reading, writing and spelling, Diane Frank worked for ten years on a phonetic dictionary to make the printed word more accessible. Visit with the author and take a look at Gabby’s Wordspeller. While compiling her book Ms Frank traveled throughout the U.S., Canada, Great Britain and Mexico, noting variations in pronunciation. She also consulted with teachers and learning development specialists. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing,” quoting the Yelm Timberland Regional Library website.
