“The National Weather Service in Seattle says the temperature hit 89 degrees at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Wednesday. The previous June 3 record of 87 was set in 1978. Records have been kept at Sea-Tac since 1945.

At the Olympia airport, the temperature also hit 89, tying the June 3 record set in 1978. Records have been kept there since 1948,” quoting The Olympian.
