WEATHER RECORDS BROKEN YESTERDAY

KING-5 TV (NBC) NEWS, Seattle reports:
“Highs on Saturday reached well into the 90s across Western Washington, breaking several records.

* Sea-Tac hit 95 degrees, breaking the old record of 90 degrees set back in 2008.
* Olympia hit 95 degrees, breaking the old record of 93 degrees set in 1967.
* Hoquiam reached 97 degrees, surpassing the old record of 81 degrees set in 2007…

A heat advisory is in effect for the greater Puget Sound region and the Southwest Interior of Western Washington until 10 p.m. Monday.”
