ART ON DISPLAY IN OUR LOCAL LIBRARIES

Artwork by Marie Light is on display in the lobby at Yelm Timberland Library until September 30, 2010. Marie’s artwork is filled with color and texture. It portrays both abstract and nature themes using acrylics, watercolor and mixed media.


Volunteer Library housed in Historical Rainier School

“Welcome to the Rainier Volunteer Library!

An art show featuring local artists Susanna Gasser, Marie Light, Brett Rude and Susan Tabor will be held at

Rainier Historical School
from Saturday September 25 thru Saturday October 23.

An artists’ reception will be held
Saturday September 25
2-6 PM.
Refreshments will be served.

This is Susanna Gasser’s first time displaying her acrylic paintings. They are colorful, free and filled with joy. Marie Light works with acrylics, watercolor and mixed media. She uses color and texture in many of her abstract paintings. Brett Rude’s acrylics are big, bold and colorful! Susan Tabor has been a professional artist for many years. Her acrylic paintings feature figural settings.

The gallery is open
Wednesdays 10am to 7pm
and
Thursday thru Saturday 10am to 4pm.
