AREA RESCUE GROUP FOR DOGS
Second Chance Dogs reports:
“This is what we found outside of Yelm. Living in crates, stacked one on top of the other, some patiently waiting to be rescued while others cry out in distress. They live in their crates day after day, only allowed out in a small pen, morning and evening for maybe 15 or 20 minutes, if they’re lucky.
Our rescue group, Second Chance Dogs, has managed, so far, to find foster homes for 26 out of 70 dogs. We are finding that our major expenses are veterinary care;
– worm medicine,
– treating skin infections,
– and broken, damaged teeth.
Alpha Pet Supply in Tenino has donated hundreds of pounds of food.
Since we are now an official, non profit organization your donations are a tax deduction…a write off. We desperately need donations to help pay for these vet expenses. We don’t have a lot of money available. We are trying to save as many dogs as possible.
Please spread the word and pass this on to anyone you know who might want to help/donate….we’re a small group, all workers are volunteers and we would greatly appreciate any amount you could possibly donate.
People tell me, “You can’t save them all” and I think we can save as many as those who come our way.
We foster, we heal and the Lord provides the perfect forever home.
