Monday, December 13th.
FROM COMMISSIONER ROMERO’S E-MAILER:
Please join Thurston County Commissioner Sandra Romero, as she hosts her monthly informal coffee hours in Rainier, Yelm on Monday, December 13th.
Come learn about Thurston County Medic One, the first countywide, tiered response EMS system in the nation. Find out what the differences are between Medic One paramedic units, Fire Department units and private ambulances. Discover how citizens have a key role in everyday emergencies and disasters. Our special guest will be Emergency Services Director, Steve Romines.
Commissioner Romero stated, This time of year it is important to be ready for emergencies and disasters. It was only November when we got snow and wind. What you can do to be prepared, and how to take action in emergencies is a very important topic.”
Commissioner Romero provides to participants coffee that she pays for herself. She is the representative of District 2, which includes Yelm, Lacey, and Rainier.
