Yelm’s iconic Mount Rainier Clinic has been sold & will remain in operation after all.
[Today, March 28th is their last day of operations open-to-the-public in Yelm!]

From the Mt. Rainier Clinic website:
“Good News! Dr. Russell Kolbo, ND, and Dr. Karl Peterson, ND, who have a combined experience of over 65 years in medical practice, will join the Mount Rainier Clinic staff on November 23rd. They will continue to provide the same high quality of care using the same Clinic treatment protocols as in the past. The link below leads to an important notice.”

Former Mt. Rainier Clinic owner John A Cranton, ARNP said this in his letter to patients:
“It is a GREAT sense of relief and PLEASURE to announce that Mount Rainier Clinic WILL NOT be closing its doors on November 22nd! I am happy to announce that, effective November 23, 2010, Dr. Kolbo and Dr. Peterson will continue where I, and my father before me, left off.

After several meetings with them to hammer out the details, we are all excited that they will KEEP THE DOORS OPEN to Mount Rainier Clinic. They will continue to offer the same services now offered by Mount Rainier Clinic. I am also confident that they will continue providing the same high quality of care with the same level of professionalism you have become accustomed to. The current medical and administrative staff, who have been instrumental in the provision of care and maintaining our good reputation, will continue to work with Dr. Kolbo and Dr. Peterson.

Dr. Russell Kolbo, ND, and Dr. Karl Peterson, ND, have a combined experience of over 65 years in medical practice, all in the Tacoma, WA area. They both practiced with Dr. Karl Petersons father in the 1970s.

I can assure you these fine gentlemen will continue to follow the same protocols initially established by my father, Dr. Elmer Cranton, MD. My Father and I met with the doctors on November 16th and feel confident they will serve you well. In fact, they will become my providers of choice and I will be seeking there advice to improve my personal health and well-being.”
