Meals on Wheels Delivers Nutritious Lunches and Social Time for Seniors

“Meals On Wheels (MOW) serves people who are more than 60 years of age. The community-style lunch is served year-round at Theler every Tuesday and Thursday (weather permitting). Some clients are also eligible for home-delivered meals. Up to one meal per day may be provided, either fresh or frozen…
The Senior Nutrition Program serving Belfair, Shelton, Lacey, Olympia, Rochester, Tenino and Yelm is designed to provide nourishing meals to the older population. South Sound Senior Services pays for the kitchen at Theler Community Center, the state pays for Meals on Wheels and Belfair Senior Group, which meets at the center for social time and lunch, pays the rent.”
