“Thurston County public notices will be published in The Olympian, beginning July 1, after the Thurston County Board of Commissioners approved the newspaper’s bid at a public hearing Tuesday.
The Nisqually Valley News, a weekly newspaper based in Yelm, previously had published the public notices four out of the past five years, said Olympian Publisher George Le Masurier, who attended Tuesday’s commission meeting. The Olympian’s bid was approved because of its wider circulation, he said.”
