The burglary wave that has been hitting Yelm in recent months and bringing media scrutiny here was certainly ratcheted-up Tuesday when the local store of multinational corporation’s Wal-Mart was targeted:

“Yelm police arrested a 20-year-old man Tuesday on suspicion of stealing more than $15,000 of merchandise, including six laptop computers, from Walmart on state Route 507.”
