“City of Rainier law aimed at curbing underage drinking
takes effect June 21

“According to a news release from Together:

The Rainier City Council passed Ordinance 607, which holds property owners, renters and leasers responsible for underage drinking occurring on the premises. Violators will be fined.

‘This isnt just about enforcement; its about educating our community that there is never a safe time for minors to consume alcohol,’ Rainier Mayor Randy Schleis said.”
