“The Thurston County Fair in Olympia, Washington is a family-oriented, old fashioned, five-day fair. The fair runs Wednesday through Sunday, always on the first full weekend in August. Come join us this year and pet the animals, spin some wool, cruise the carnival, visit the exhibits, get dizzy on the rides, check out the commercial vendors, and feast on the fabulous fair food.
The 2012 Fair Week runs from August 1 through August 5. Admission hours are from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.”
“Join us on August 4th, Saturday morning, from 8:30 to 10:00 for a free (with paid admission) pancake breakfast served up by the Thurston County Commissioners. The eating area will be located on the east side of Heritage Hall near the Gazebo,” quoting the Fair’s website.
