“Lacey Albertsons among stores to close this year”

“An Albertsons store in Lacey is set to close, one of 60 underperforming stores nationwide that Minnesota-based parent company Supervalu Inc. announced Wednesday it plans to close.

Eight of the stores are in the Puget Sound area, five in South Sound.

The majority of the stores are expected to close before Dec. 1, according to a Supervalu news release,” quoting John Gillie in The Olympian.
