From the Ross & Burbank Show which aired on KIRO 97.3 FM radio on Thursday, November 1, 2012:
“‘Brother Karl Walczak, principal of O’Dea High School in Seattle is accused of sexual abuse of a minor dating back to the 1970s when he was a teacher at Brother Rice High School in Chicago.’
‘The school and the Archdiocese of Seattle are now accused of perpetuating a cover-up. Brother Walczak denies the allegations, but resigned his position on Thursday [Nov 1].’
‘Members of SNAP, the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, said parents and students should have been made aware of the allegations against Walczak when they surfaced in August.'”
Dave Ross referred to the media firestorm over unlawful video distributions from RSE at the end of this segment saying this was, “intended as a hit piece as part of a local political campaign.”
He went on to say why JZ Knight went to court over the dissemination of such videos:
“You don’t want to make it easy to steal someone else’s proprietary material, and so I would think that that is what is also going on here.”
“One of the reasons that people copyright stuff is so that it isn’t misrepresented.”
“Alot of copyright holders feel it’s OK if you publish my work intact alright and pay me for it, but if you,
number one, edit it, number two, add a soundtrack and then number three, spread it around without paying for it, then I have a beef with you, right?

While the videos have been the main focus, where is the local condemnation on what has come to light right here in Puget Sound and what the Catholic Church has done in hiding the abuse of children?
If you are not outraged about these stories from the Church, who’s side are you on?
– And, where IS the outrage that a private corporation based in Australia spent over a half-million dollars to prevent Proposition 1 from passing here, thus ensuring their Puget Sound Energy (PSE) subsidiary is the ONLY power source for Thurston County for years to come?
