Yelm School Board’s Dave Pratt resigns –
Board seeks interim member

From Yelm Community Schools:
“Yelm Community Schools is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the School Board for Director District 1. The vacancy was created when board member Dave Pratt resigned his position effective April 30 due to moving out of the district. Mr. Pratt served on the school board since 2010.

The open position is for Director District 1 ( map / legal description ). Applicants must reside in District 1, which include the northwest part of the district extending toward the Lacey/Olympia area.

The school board will appoint a replacement to serve until the next general election in November 2013. At that time the position will be up for election for a full four-year term.

Applications will be accepted through close of business on May 7, 2013. Interviews will be conducted during the May 9 school board meeting.
