We are offering First-Aid training to the public. Classes begin at 7PM at Station 17-1.

The next First-Aid class will be held on May 23rd.

“As the song Stayin Alive plays, six members of Yelms Bald Hills Fire Department will perform in a flash mob for CPR awareness 1 p.m. Saturday [May 18] at the Capital Mall in Olympia.

Fire department agencies from all over Thurston County, an emergency room physician and citizens will participate. Cindy Hambly, training manager for Thurston County Medic One, said Bald Hills is the only representative from Yelm.”
