Pierce County Elections Supervisor Mary Hall announced Monday [May 13] that she had filed her Declaration of Candidacy with the Thurston County Auditor. Hall filed with the Public Disclosure Commission in January to run for Auditor as a Democrat.

Mary Hall is a nationally and state certified elections administrator, has conducted over 80 elections in her 16 year career and manages a multi-million dollar departmental budget. I will continue Thurston Countys long tradition of having a qualified Auditor with strong elections experience, Mary said. I am passionate about executing the duties of Auditor in a fair, transparent, and efficient manner. My experience and qualifications as an unbiased elections administrator, combined with my commitment to providing quality customer service and efficient licensing and recording services make me the best choice for Thurston County Auditor.
Nationally recognized for her work with military and overseas voters, Hall and her team won the 2012 Pierce County Innovation Award for integrating Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology with voter registration data.
Prior to her career as an election official, Hall was the President/CEO of a records management software firm that was recognized as one of the 1993 High Tech 100 by Washington CEO magazine. She lives in northeast Thurston County with her husband of 26 years.
