From Steven Wyble in the Nisqually Valley News:
JZ Knight is not a person of interest in a Thurston County Sheriffs Office murder investigation, sheriffs spokesman Greg Elwin said today [May 16].

Her name certainly has come up in the investigation, but she is not a person of interest, Elwin said.

Elwin said the sheriffs office is investigating the 1992 murder of Joe Sumrall after receiving new information on the case.

Within the last several months weve received new information regarding the Sumrall homicide and thats what were investigating, seeing if any of this new information might yield new clues or information that might help solve the case, he said. Some of that information has included JZ Knights name, but nothing that causes us to consider her a suspect or person of interest in any way.

According to court documents, Coverdale allegedly posted on a Facebook group that she had spoken to a woman who claimed her husband murdered someone in Tenino, allegedly at the request of JZ Knight. Lawyers for JZK, Inc. asked Coverdale to name the alleged witness during a deposition interview and she refused, according to court documents.

Editor’s Note:
Every allegation Virginia Coverdale, Pastor Adams and company continue to allege against JZ Knight continues to be stripped apart as unfounded. At what point are their “allegations” considered “malicious rumors” for the headlines, their “15 minutes of fame” are up and THEIR credibility is called into question?

With all of the unfounded accusations Coverdale, Pastor Adams and others have placed on JZ Knight, this quote by Lt. Daniel Kaffee (played by Tom Cruise) in the 1992 movie “A Few Good Men” seems appropriate:
Maybe if we work at it we can get Dawson charged with the Kennedy assassination.

David McCarthy sued in NZ Court for copyright violation

From Steven Wyble in the Nisqually Valley News:
“A Thurston County Superior Court Judge dismissed with prejudice former Ramtha School of Enlightenment student David McCarthy from a lawsuit between JZK, Inc. and ex-RSE student Virginia Coverdale on Friday [May 10].

Thurston County Superior Court Judge Gary Tabor also denied McCarthys anti-SLAPP (strategic lawsuit against public participation) motion.

SLAPP lawsuits are intended to censor, intimidate or silence critics through litigation.”

“[JZK, inc. attorney] Grant said that while McCarthy was dismissed from the lawsuit in the U.S., he has also been sued in New Zealand for copyright violation. The U.S. lawsuit [JZK, Inc. vs. Virginia Coverdale] is over breach of contract not copyright claims stemming from a conditions of participation agreement RSE students sign prohibiting them from disseminating the schools materials.”
