“Yelm police are searching for a man they suspect stole a tractor and equipment worth about $30,000 over the weekend.
Surveillance footage shows a man in the parking lot of J&I Power Equipment around 4 a.m. Saturday walking up to various tractors in the stores parking lot, Police Chief Todd Stancil said.

2. “Burglar cuts into roof in theft attempt”
“Police say a Yelm man allegedly cut a hole in the roof of TLC-Outlet Express Monday and attempted to steal a safe.
An officer responded to an interior motion alarm at the store at about 12:30 a.m. Monday, Yelm Police Chief Todd Stancil said.
