Yelm Author Cate Montana

Yelm Author Cate Montana announces
Unearthing Venus: My Search for the Woman Within, her new book, is being released October 1st in five countries by Watkins publishing.

Montana tells the Yelm Community Blog,
“The world is waking up to the need for the restoration of women’s values and their mitigating effects on unchecked masculine values of aggressive competition and the supreme man-date of power and profit at all costs. As such the timing of this book and its global message couldn’t be better.”

Unearthing Venus is a compelling and often humorous tale of a liberated woman’s awakening to the vast marginalization of feminine values in Western culture. A chance interview with a shaman got me out of the fast lane working in network television for ABC and CNN, sending me on an eleven-year inner journey and outer adventure deep into the Amazon River basin of Ecuador and Peru, up peaks in the Andes and into the goddess temples of southern India to discover my hidden powerful feminine nature.

“A riveting 21st heroine’s journey! I couldn’t put it down and didn’t want it to end!” says New York Times best selling author Kathleen McGowan.

– Yelm’s Lemuria will host a book reading and signing Saturday Oct. 12th from 4- 7 pm, reading at 5 pm.
