“The Triad Arts Theater in Yelm is a little more colorful after a contribution from a family of local artists.

A new stained-glass window sits atop the entrance of the theater, located at 102 E. Yelm Ave.

The window was designed by local sculptor Paul Keeslar. He had help from his son Kiernan Keeslar. Pauls other son, Kale, and his father, Cliff, helped install the window Saturday morning.

Paul Keeslar said hes known Steve Craig, owner of the theater building, for awhile and they had discussed the possibility of making a custom stained-glass window for the building.

Theater Director Cameron Jayne told Keeslar she wanted the window to reflect the theaters logo. The triangle shapes in the window reflect the ‘triad’ of the theaters name, while the iconic ‘tragedy’ and ‘comedy’ masks associated with dramatic theater represent its commitment to the arts,” quoting Steven Wyble in Nisqually Valley News.
