“Scot Embrey – Regional Principal of the Year”

“Mr. Brock Williams, Tenino Elementary principal and chair of the Capital Region Elementary School Principals Association of Washington representing 70 elementary schools in three counties, presented Fort Stevens Elementary Principal Scot Embrey with the Regional Distinguished Principal of the Year award.

He stated, ‘This award is a tribute to your deep and professional commitment to the children of your school. Additionally it represents the pride and admiration of your colleagues for your effort to promote positive school/community relations and for implementing instructional programs leading to academic excellence. Thank you for doing what you do for your kids.'”

“Fort Stevens Elementary was among the top 5 percent highest improving schools in the state of Washington for increased reading and math achievement over the past five years,” covered here last October.
