The often proposed and much debated 100′ cell tower for the southern Bald Hills area near the Clearwood Community has moved closer to fruition with a balloon test scheduled for July 16. This follows similar tests near Lake Lawrence and Bald Hills/Smith Prairie junction areas previously covered here.

This balloon test will occur on July 16th on property near the Clearwood Community back gate, owned by Weyerhaeuser Timber Co.

A forum will also be held for neighboring property owners and residents to review the AT&T Mobility proposal and their preliminary development plans, with the intent to identify issues prior to review of the formal application.
To be held at the Yelm Middle School’s Commons Room, Wednesday, July 16, 6-7:30pm.
