The True Grass Roots Action Committee IS hosting a forum to introduce candidates running for local positions in the fall general election, including those running for:
* State Representative in the 2nd and 20th Legislative districts,
* County commissioner
* County Assessor.
The public is invited to see and hear the candidates live and in-person, in order to make informed choices at the polls in November.
This forum takes place at the Moose Lodge in Yelm at 7PM., Wednesday October 8th.

The True Grass Roots Action Committee formed earlier this year to address issues of private property under the broader umbrella of the principles of self governance. They encourage fellow citizens to get involved in government at the local level, with the purpose of reclaiming our republic.

Mon Oct 6: Public forum featuring candidates for U.S. Representative (our local 10th Congressional District): Congressional opponents Denny Heck and Joyce McDonald will speak and respond to the publics written questions at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts, 512 Washington St SE, Olympia. The audience will have an opportunity to submit written questions, so come and listen to what the candidates have to say. This is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Thurston County and the Nisqually Tribe. Doors will open at 6:30 pm, and the forum will begin at 7:30 pm.
