“State tops nation in new board-certified teachers; 37 hail from Thurston County schools”

“Washington tops the country in the number of new National Board Certified Teachers, state Superintendent of Public Instruction Randy Dorn announced Wednesday [Dec. 3].

Of the 946 teachers who achieved the certification this year, 37 hail from Thurston County schools, according to a list provided by OSPI to The Olympian.”
