The trouncing of public initiative Proposition 1 (public power options) here in Fall 2012 demonstrated an embarrassing lack of understanding by City of Yelm public officials’ and by the Australian parent of Puget Sound Energy (PSE) distinguishing “itself, not only for the sheer brazenness of its misinformation, but also by its unprecedented spending.'” Other states are not so naive and are seizing control of their own energy for the future of their children and grandchildren.
