“Authorities are investigating a homicide in Yelm Wednesday.

Just before 5 p.m. deputies responded to a home in the 19800 block of 161st Way Southeast near Smith Prairie Road after a woman reported that a 52-year-old man had been stabbed at the location.

When deputies arrived, they found an unconscious man on the front porch of the residence. Medics then confirmed the man was dead.

The suspect was detained and booked into the Thurston County Jail for second-degree murder,” quoting KIRO-TV 7 News in Seattle.
