The first of two Autumn events will occur next week in Yelm at Ramtha’s School of Enlightenment (RSE), drawing students from around the world to the local area. RSE will be hosting a prominent medical scientist, Judy Mikovits, PhD, on Thursday, October 22.
RSE Guest speaker Judy Mikovits’s talk is open to the public, both on the Yelm campus and via live stream:
“Judy Mikovits, PhD, spent twenty years at the National Cancer Institute working with Dr. Frank Ruscetti, one of the founders of the study of human retroviruses.
In 2009, a special meeting was held at the National Institutes of Health to discuss findings that a newly discovered retrovirus was linked to chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), prostate cancer, lymphoma, and eventually neurodevelopmental disorders like autism in children. When Dr. Mikovits finished her presentation the room was silent for a moment, then one of the scientists said, “Oh my God!” The resulting investigation would be like no other in science.
Dr. Mikovits has coauthored more than forty scientific papers. She is also the coauthor of the book, Plague: One Scientist’s Intrepid Search for the Truth about Human Retroviruses and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), Autism, and Other Diseases.
Like Dr. Candace Pert before her, Dr. Mikovits confronted a scientific establishment corrupted by political forces, personal ambitions, and sexism. Plague reads like a suspense novel as Mikovits pursues the truth about retroviruses despite a public health system that does what it wants for its own purposes.”

Editor’s Note:
Whether our local residents approve or not that Ramtha’s School of Enlightenment (RSE) sits on the outskirts of the Yelm City limits, this town is one of the most notable worldwide in the spiritual movement. Further, with the large Autumn event happening here, the influx of students supporting our local businesses during this slow time of year economically gives a big shot in the arm for increased sales and tax income.
Blogger Klein is an RSE retiree and in his 30th year as a student of Ramtha.
