“Officials with Mount Rainier National Park are discouraging travel in the park this weekend due to expected rain and snow.

Superintendent Randy King said in a news release that park officials have begun preparations for a “significant weather event” bringing up to 15 inches of rain with snow at higher elevations,” quoting the AP on KING 5 News.
