Washington has warmest October on record

The National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) reports that Washington State saw October 2015 as the warmest on-record with an average temperature was 52.8 degrees, more than five degrees higher than normal and topping the previous record from 1988 by half a degree (records date back to 1895).
