A brief history of the Coverdale case –
Is Coverdale’s vengeance in a simple contract case a misuse of our Courts?

Has defendant Coverdale thumbed her nose at the Courts to postpone paying her debts?
Coverdale keeps appealing her case as a defendant and filing her own lawsuits, which places her over $700,000 owed in the Court-imposed fees plus interest in postponement. A letter-writer to The Olympian responded to Coverdale’s story several years ago that while having no affinity to JZ Knight and RSE, Coverdale would lose, for putting aside the emotional and political noise, this was a simple case of a contract violation, and that she was already in arrears at $225,000 at that time and was recommended to cease this then.
That writer WAS correct.

Editor’s Note:
Interesting that the Nisqually Valley News (NVN) has reported for over three years in front-page headlines the case of JZK, Inc. vs. Coverdale, yet the decision this week by the Washington Appeals Court was relegated to obscurity on page A-8 today, while the newspaper boldly headlines with inaccuracies an Archdiocese of Seattle letter about area-resident Dr. Miceal Ledwith, previously covered here.

November 1, 2012: JZK, Inc. v. Virginia Coverdale, et al filed in Thurston County Superior Court
Coverdale accused of violating two signed Conditions of Participation contracts in disseminating propriety school property: videos and materials.

December 8, 2012, former Nisqually Valley News Publisher/Editor Keven Graves said in his Op-Ed:
“JZ Knight lawsuit is a story we will keep covering”

January 22, 2016: “Coverdale Loses Appeal Against JZ Knight’s Company” is buried on page A-8:
That Graves’ successor buried this story today in favor of a salacious headline story filled with inaccuracies, is also a travesty. The NVN would not have too difficult a time to quote JZ Knight from her own website in the ruling on this case.

Coverdale was joined by many with political and/or emotional motives.
This lists those entangled in her case who also lost in the Courts or settled with JZK, Inc.:

including and not limited to the Freedom Foundation, Glen Morgan, David McCarthy, Enlighten Me Free, Melissa Genson, Pastor Jeff Adams, Coverdale’s former Olympia attorney Shawn Newman, former Yelm attorney Breckan Scott, former co-counsel and Washington Bar Association president Anthony Gipe, and now high-profile, current Seattle attorney Stephen Pidgeon.

These NVN headlines clearly demonstrate this case’s process in the various Courts:
