April 30’s National Rebuilding Day volunteers served in Yelm

* Goal of the organization is to keep people living in their homes
“About 175 volunteers spent their Saturday doing yard work, cleaning gutters, painting and making homes repairs for national Rebuilding Day, an event hosted by Rebuilding Together.

The Thurston County chapter of the national organization has been around for 14 years, and has been completely volunteer-run for 12 years, board member Susan Newman said. Throughout the year, the local chapter will complete 22 to 24 projects with the help of 300 to400 volunteers,” by Amelia Dickson, The Olympian.
