“What is the Power of Produce? This innovative program introduces children ages 5-12 to the world of healthy eating and the joy of gardening. Each child receives $2 in market tokens each week to spend on fruit or vegetables or a plant that grows food.

Currently it will take $1,000 for the Yelm Farmers Market to continue the program for the 500+ children who have signed up this year. Two of our board members have agreed to match every donation that comes in, up to a total of $500 in matching funds.
