Yelm Cemetery asks for the community’s help!

Grave-site of James Longmire, one of Yelm’s first veterans

– From the Yelm Cemetery:
A message to the community”
“We are in great need to getting files and document support. Due to “old mistakes,” we are still trying to re-build our database of plot owners.
We have limited paper files to support the purchase of a grave, and limited documentation of the interment of an individual. Our hope and prayer is that we can encourage individuals that do hold deeds or have family and/or friends interred at the cemetery, that these individuals will come forward with any documentation, any paperwork they might have as evidence of ownership, even of a picture during a funeral service showing the grave site. And specifically important if they purchased [a plot] within the past 10+ yrs as a PN (pre-need).”
