The Yelm Business Assn. (YBA) submitted further comments to Yelm City Hall officials Feb. 14, 2017 about their Food Truck Regs. proposal, to be included in the city’s Comprehensive Plan update. This update was completed with the assistance of Lori Johnson, Executive Director, Washington State Food Truck Association. Councilor Joe DePinto publicly apologized to YBA President Schmier and acknowledged that council had not discussed this proposal in the 5+ months since first presented, directing City Administrator Michael Grayum to add the YBA Food Trucks regs. proposal to the council’s study session agenda.
