Ed Bergh passes away, 2014 Washington History Teacher of the Year


“Yelm High School teacher Teacher Ed Bergh facilitates a spirited yet well-reasoned class round table discussion on the landmark Roe V Wade abortion ruling during their American government class in 2012. That’s when Bergh was honored as the Washington State Civics Teacher of the Year. He won 2014 Washington State History Teacher of the Year.”

– Retired Yelm High School Educator Ed Bergh dies
Covered here many times for his achievements, Yelm High School retired teacher Ed Bergh passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017. Bergh’s contributions to the fabric of this community and especially to his students across the years will serve as a testament to the impact he leaves.
Our thoughts and prayers go to Ed’s family and his Yelm Community Schools constituents.
