Yelm’s March 6th ACU robbery suspect arrested

“The Yelm Police Department arrested the suspect from the robbery at America’s Credit Union that occurred on March 6th at 2:00 p.m.. The suspect was booked into the Thurston County Jail and is identified as James Venson, a 26 year old male from the Pierce County area. He was arrested in a motel in Fife, WA with the assistance from the Fife Police Department and the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.
‘The arrest was made possible by the tremendous work from our Detective who put together information received from the public and local business community,’ said Police Chief Todd Stancil,” quoting the Press Release.
