– Thurston County Commissioners declared June as LGBTQ pride month.
The County’s Proclamation noted this was a first where Thurston County declared June, or any month, to be pride month. Residents were encouraged to acknowledge the social progress in equality for the LGBTQ community in our area. The Rainbow Flag will also be raised with the American flag through Monday.
