– From Council candidate Cody Colt in his own words:
My plan for Yelm is simple but something we have been lacking. We need transparency, voice and new ideas. The same old idea and thoughts haven’t been working and will not work in the future. I am not afraid to fight for Yelm, I am not afraid to make sure the state follow through on its promises, like the Bypass.

My experience teaching history has taught me that the quiet content person gets little done.

The infrastructure of Yelm needs to be a priority, we continue to grow but nothing is being done about the system which supports that growth. Businesses need an easier time opening and getting support from the city. I plan on working to make Yelm a place for new businesses.

I am not going to sit ideally by while laws and ordinances are passed. I will be the voice the people are lacking with your help.
