As reported in the Nisqually Valley News on December 8th regrading the dissolution of the Yelm Business Assn. (YBA), “The YBA board voted to disseminate the balance of its funds to Experience Olympia and Beyond, specifically earmarked towards promoting tourism in Yelm.”
The Thurston County tourism website award will now attract even more exposure to Yelm, boosting the YBA Board’s donation and investment.

The awards, overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, recognize outstanding creative work from small agencies worldwide. Experience Olympia’s award is shared with the Seattle office of marketing firm Simpleview, the developer of the new ExperienceOlympia.com website.”
