– Editor’s note:
George Orwell’s landmark book 1984 provides guidance on what happens when government goes down this primrose lane, and this is not a pretty picture folks, i.e. Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, China, North Korea, Cuba, etc.

What WILL the government do with the compiled data, for if they attempt to censor or inhibit journalists, bloggers and “media influencers,” this country is going to have a Constitutional crisis when the first Amendment will be violated?!

“Now would be the perfect time to call your local and congressional representatives to let them know how much you value a free press and the freedom of speech,” quoting Michelle Fabio, Contributor, Forbes.

If you think the idea of the U.S. government’s compiling and monitoring a list of media professionals and “top media influencers” is a potential threat to democracy, now would be the perfect time to call your local and congressional representatives to let them know how much you value a free press and the freedom of speech, just in case they’ve forgotten.”
