– Editor’s Note:
The New York Times Opinion Columnist Nicholas Kristof penned a thoughtful column published May 5, 2018 titled “Our Addiction to Trump“. An excerpt of what he observed said, “In fairness, there’s good reason we’re all Trump addicts: President Trump truly is THE story in America today. He is systematically undermining American institutions and norms that underlie democratic government: courts, law enforcement, journalism, the intelligence community, truth. He is also being investigated for possibly obstructing justice and colluding with a foreign power’s attack on our electoral system. Epic battles will follow.”

Kristoff is right, of course!
Yet, regardless of all blather in the fog of political war defending points of view where truth became the first casualty, EVERY elected official swears to uphold the Constitution of the United States whether they understand and/or adhere to their oath or not. I recently recalled what Ramtha so eloquently stated over 30 years ago at an event I attended here in Yelm, requesting his ideals be posted, courtesy of Ramtha’s School of Enlightenment (RSE), Copyright © 2018 JZ Knight.
Ramtha’s insights are invaluable in one of the most challenging times for our Constitutional Republic:
“Your only protection against a wholly enslaved society…”
“Your Constitution, know you what that is? Yes, rights that are bills that you can enact. That is the only thing that holds the fabric of your liberty together.”
November 14, 1987
And:
“Remember what I told you about the Constitution of this country, the land of the brave, the land of the free? That is still the most immutable law that governs this great continent, and there is not another one like it. That is why it is the most important document ever written in this time, as we understand time to be.”
