JBLM’s Hall of Valor dedicated, completing the Lewis Army Museum,
Open to the public!

– Editor’s note:
The museum is open to the public Wednesdays through Sunday, admission is free. Instead of using one of the base’s gates for access, parking is located at the JBLM Visitor Center, then an escort to the museum.

“Four years of planning, renovating and curating culminated Saturday [Sept. 15] as the Lewis Army Museum on the grounds of JBLM opened up the final piece of its renovation project.”

“The final piece of the Lewis Army Museum, located on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, is open to the public.

The ‘Hall of Valor’ depicts the combat history of soldiers deployed from JBLM over the past 100 years, beginning with the deployment of Washington troops to the Philippine-American War to the Iraq war,” by Vanessa Misciagna, KING-5 TV News, Seattle.
