West Nile’s first report west of the Cascades, in Pierce County!

“We received positive results for West Nile virus from a routine mosquito sampling at Gog-le-hi-te Wetlands near the Port of Tacoma. This is the first detection of the virus in mosquitoes west of the Cascades.
