Yelm’s Route 510/Yelm Loop Phase 2 gets Legislative funding allocated

  • Editor’s note: Regardless of what former Mayor Harding said during his term and Mayor Foster previously stated about the road being open by this year, funding for Phase 2 of the Yelm Loop was always scheduled for the 2021-2023 biennium by then Governor Gregoire early in this decade, and covered here many times. With Mayor Foster saying he was intending to serve one term as mayor, if he holds to that commitment, he will not be the mayor to cut the ribbon on the road’s late 2023 opening.

“Thurston County gets ramp meters, buses and vans in state transportation budget”

“The state Legislature on Sunday approved a two-year, $9.8 billion transportation budget that builds on the 2015 Connecting Washington package.”

“The following are some of the major projects for Thurston County:”
